Darla Jackson has performed solo and as part of a clogging group throughout the southeast. She has visited many schools as a performer and dance instructor. Session Title: Inspiring Youth
As director of Pointe Of Joy Performing Arts School in Paintsville, Lora Jane will share the rewards and challenges of running a dance studio and working as a consultant and choreographer.
You are invited to participate in an exciting effort to build a network of community theatres in Kentucky. We hope to develop opportunities for community theatre groups to perform in one another's communities and to share resources and ideas. We will discuss how such a network might be structured and how we might obtain funding for the network through a grant application to the National Endowment for the Arts.
