Give back to The Center for Rural Development by using iGive!
The Center for Rural Development’s youth programs serve the young people who will become the future leaders of our region. When you use iGive to give to The Center, you’re taking an active role in helping us serve those youth and the communities they live in.
By using iGive when you’re shopping online, a portion of the cost paid to purchase an item is diverted directly to The Center in the form of a donation check. These contributions will be used to support The Center’s youth programs—Rogers Scholars, Rogers Explorers, and the Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute—as they prepare our region’s young leaders to grow into adults and professionals who can thrive and succeed without having to leave Southern and Eastern Kentucky.
Here’s how it works:
- When you’re prepared to shop online and make a purchase, first go to www.iGive.com/CenterforRuralDevelopment
- Shop at any of over 700 participating online stores that partner with iGive—including eBay, Staples, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, 1-800 flowers.com, and The Home Depot, just to name a few.
- Make a purchase just like you would any other time. The difference is that a percentage of the purchase price comes back to The Center as a charitable donation.
What’s more, it’s absolutely free for you and you pay the same (or less) than you would by going directly to the store! Using iGive gives you access to a treasure-trove of exclusive coupons, sales, and free shipping options. Shopping online also means no wasted gas and no more standing in long lines at the local mall or shopping center.
When you use iGive, you’re saving money, saving time, and sending gifts that give twice by supporting The Center. What’s better than that?
